Today is World Photography Day. It’s a day to get people who enjoy photography to go out and take some photos. Then, you are encouraged to upload one photograph to their online collection.

I enjoy participating in this special day.  I’ve done so since 2011.

Today, my feet were sore from the weekend, so I took photographs in my back yard.  I got several of the yellow roses, a blue jay, some pine cones, and fuschia colored flowers in our front yard (I have no clue what they are).  I decided on one of a yellow rose for this year’s submission.

It’s a fun way to get people to play with their cameras.  It’s fascinating to look through the gallery and see what other people see.
